Can you speak a language other then English?

  • Deliver beach safety & rock fishing safety talks to community groups & diverse audiences.
  • Deliver sessions in English & your own language both virtually & face to face.
  • We urge anyone interested to apply but those with a strong knowledge & interest in their own culture will be highly regarded.
  • Training provided.

What is this role about?

The Multicultural Beach Safety Presenter is responsible for assisting Surf Life Saving NSW with the delivery of beach and water safety education programs, both face to face and virtual, to a variety of groups with a key focus on multicultural community groups and those whose first language is not English.

A key feature of this role will be to utilise language and cultural awareness to connect with and teach our diverse communities about how to stay safe on our coastlines.

All training will be provided to support this role. We are looking for people who are looking for casual work and who are interested in helping communities stay safe at the beach.
