Stay safe this summer in and around the water! Learn how to be safe while at the beach, rock fishing, boating, swimming pools, rivers and lakes. Also, learn basic CPR and First Aid skills.

SES Water Safety Week 2021 (29/11 – 03/12/2021) gives culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, including migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, a chance to hear from water safety, fishing, and boating experts about a range of topics, including identifying dangers and hazards at the beach, spotting and surviving rip currents, pool and in-land waterways safety, rock fishing and fishing safety, staying safe in boats, first aid/CPR, and many more.

Surf Life Saving NSW in collaboration with the SES Water Safety Committee aim to increase awareness and education to ensure people know how to enjoy the NSW waterways safely and to respond appropriately if someone’s in trouble.

The Water Safety Week is a FREE event that will be running from the 29th of November to the 3rd of December 2021. There will be 5 sessions spread across that week. All sessions are scheduled to start from 10 am to 11:30 am. The sessions are free to attend and can be accessed online via zoom.

Participants can register using the link in the flyer, or by clicking on the link: SES Water Safety Week 2021 Registration Page. After registration, you will receive some cool water safety resources and the zoom link details for the event.
