TAFE NSW is the NSW government provider of vocational education and training in Australia, is a strong and trusted brand delivering training for over 130 years. Each year, more than 430,000 students enrol in our courses and training. We aim to skill the workforce for the future through high quality, personalised education and training.
As a Senior Education Officer, multicultural specialist, my role is to support access for culturally and linguistically diverse communities to learning, in order to strengthen their participation in society and enable their aspirations.
My role as part of SLSNSW is to support water safety initiatives, and contribute TAFE NSW’s training expertise to strengthen communities’ learning about beach and coastal safety.
I really enjoy being a part of the SES Multicultural Water Safety Committee as Australia is known around the world as having beautiful beaches, and water safety information is essential for newly settled communities to enjoy these natural resources and feel a sense of joy and belonging in their new home.
