Secondary Teaching Resources
Free beach safety learning tools and resources for secondary teachers
In secondary years
Children take on more responsibility and broaden their thinking. Connection, inclusion, and community are key to their wellbeing. The beach offers freedom and connection but also presents risks. Surf Life Saving fosters self-awareness, guiding young people to make safe, positive choices.
Our educators have developed curriculum-aligned resources for Stages 4 to 6 to help teachers easily integrate beach and coastal safety into lesson plans. These units are supported by our virtual and incursion programs, with stage-based lessons and activity sheets.
