HSIE (Geography) units focuses on students developing the knowledge, understanding and skills important for building respectful relationships, enhancing personal strengths and exploring personal identity to promote the health, safety and wellbeing of themselves and other.
HSIE Teaching Resources – Stage 4
This unit explores how students use their story to arm themselves with strategies to have hard conversations with peers and family and make well informed decisions about their safety and wellbeing around water. Includes lesson plans and resources.
HSIE Teaching Resources – Stage 5
This unit and associated resources focus on delivering the key water safety message that the beach is a place for everyone to safely experience the beach, coastline and inland waterways. Includes lesson plans and resources.
