Since 1994, NSW surf lifesavers have been visiting schools in rural and remote areas to educate primary school students about beach and water safety. Our very popular annual primary aged surf education program is now returning for its 28th year in 2021.

What is Beach to Bush?

Each year our volunteer lifesavers go "bush" to teach students about beach and water safety through our interactive and engaging 45 minute FREE presentations. We also integrate water safety message for pools, dams and inland waterways into our sessions. Over the past 28 years we have delivered our key safety messages to over 266,000 students and visited nearly 2,000 schools!
