Beach to Bush 2022
Bring the beach to your school with our surf lifesavers! Our annual Beach to Bush program is scheduled from 7th to 25th November 2022.
Its our 29th year of visiting regional NSW schools!
Since 1994 our enthusiastic and dedicated volunteer lifesavers have been visiting schools in rural and remote areas of NSW to educate primary aged students about beach and water safety. So far we have delivered our message to 273,862 students and 1,998 schools.
This year our very popular primary aged surf education program will be held over three weeks from 7th to 25th November 2022.

On tour with our dedicated surf lifesavers...
WHAT WILL YOUR STUDENTS LEARN?
Our 45 minute presentations focus on beach and inland water safety. Students will learn about general beach safety, sun safety, rips and waves, sea creatures, basic first aid, rescues and getting help from a lifeguard or a lifesaver. We’ll also have a curriculum aligned guide against all content for this program available for teachers. Best of all this program is FREE as it’s a fully funded program from SLSNSW!
Our volunteer lifesavers are already excited and can’t wait to visit rural NSW schools and meet the students.
