Beach to Bush 2021
Since 1994, NSW surf lifesavers have been visiting schools in rural and remote areas in regional NSW to educate primary school students about beach, coastal and water safety. The 2021 program was held from 29th November to 3rd December.
2021 was a challenging year with many restrictions in place in NSW regional schools
While our Lifesavers could not meet rural NSW students in person, they still dedicated their time, energy and knowledge of beach, coastal and waterways safety to schools by presenting live virtual sessions from their Surf Lifesaving Clubs along the NSW coastline.
During Beach to Bush week our committed surf lifesavers met over 7000 students in our very engaging virtual sessions as part of our inaugural BIG BEACH WEEK, continuing the tradition of making make a lasting impact on students and their families when they visit the coastline and waterways.

Thank you lifeguards for taking the time to zoom us and teach us about beach safety. On behalf of Nemingha public school we thank you for your time and effort we all learnt something very helpful for next time.

ON TOUR WITH B2B 2021!

A worthwhile program with very important messages and learning for children leading into the summer break, even for us way out here in the back country as majority of families will visit the beach at sometime.
