If you explore rock pools you can find some amazing sea creatures. In particular lots and lots of crabs. I found this Purple Shore Crab.
I did some research and found out that these cuties are often sighted along rocky coasts, especially those exposed to strong surf. Which is where I found mine!
They prefer these rocky coastlines as hiding places are plentiful and they do not burrow in sand like many other crabs. They watched me inquisitively from the safety of the crevices as I sneaked in to take their photo!
